The idea of a hair style being called "Beach Waves" makes me laugh. Do I love the look, absolutely YES, do I know for a dang fact that my hair looks nothing like this when at the beach... also... YES! I get mad at myself if I forget to show up with braids in for beach days. The wind & salt air makes my hair go into one crazy tangled-up mess that takes me 15 pumps of conditioner to work through it. Anyways... here's my "Beach Waves" from this awesome 3 Barrel Curling Iron. It works like a crimper... which is freaking amazing with the length of hair I have. Super fast to heat up & easy to use. I am sure the wave look would have lasted longer with a little product. However, I don't own any hair spray. It's just not my thing. Maybe I'll have to invest in some to make it hold longer.
